Mel Gibson will star in 'The Beaver' which will co-star, and be directed by, Jodie Foster.
According to Variety, Gibson will play a depressed man who finds solace in wearing a beaver hand-puppet and Foster will play his wife.
Gibson and Foster will re reunited on screen following 1994's 'Maverick'.
'The Beaver' is due to begin filming in September in New York.
