Evil father Owen Turner is returning to Albert Square to cause more trauma for daughter Libby and ex-wife Denise.

Turner (played by actor Lee Ross) was jailed for trying to kill Libby (Belinda Owusu) and now wants to play a part in the lives of his daughter and her mother Denise (Diane Parish).

Actress Kate Williams is also returning to 'EastEnders' as Turner's mother Liz, who has grown bored of life in Spain.

Commenting, 'EastEnders' Executive Producer Diederick Santer said: "It's very exciting to have Kate and Lee back in the show. Lee's one of the finest actors of his generation, and the scenes he did with Belinda Owusu and Diane Parish three years ago were electrifying.

"I'm looking forward to more! Kate's brief appearances were equally memorable - she's a brilliant comic and dramatic actress, and I'm keen to find out more about the unusual Liz Turner."
