Gordon Ramsay has said insulting comments he made about an Australian presenter were "blown out of context".
The 'Hell's Kitchen' star appeared on Australian show 'A Current Affair', hosted by high-profile journalist Tracy Grimshaw.
After an uneventful appearance by Gordon on Grimshaw's show, the British chef attended a food and wine tasting event in Melbourne, where he stunned the audience by unleashing a string of foul-mouthed insults at Tracy in her absence.
He reportedly called her a lesbian and likened her to a pig. He then repeated the insults the following two days at the same food exhibition, although he later he said he was only joking.
Grimshaw failed to see the humour and retaliated on her programme, calling the chef an "arrogant narcissist" and a "bully."
"Obviously Gordon thinks that any woman who doesn't find him attractive must be gay," Tracy said. "For the record, I don't and I'm not."
An unrepentant Gordon told Australia’s 'Nine News' that his comments had been "blown out of context".
