'Hollyoaks' is launching an online search for a new actress.
The Channel 4 soap’s production house Lime Pictures are inviting aspiring actresses aged 18-30 to send in audition clips for the role of a new character named India.
The online audition process – ‘Desperately Seeking’ – entails downloading a short script, videoing a performance and uploading the audition to the official site.
Entries must be in by 22 June and a shortlist of 25 will be announced three days later, with official auditions at the Hollyoaks set beginning 29 June. The winner is expected to be announced on 4 July.
Former 'Hollyoaks' star Roxanne McKee landed her role as Louise Summers after winning the ‘On the Pull’ competition in 2004.
