A fire in Albert Square will leave 'EastEnders' viewers wondering if soap baddie Nick Cotton is gone for good.
According to The Sun, Ian Beale's café explodes with Nasty Nick (John Altman) inside.
A source told the Mirror: "The only person who is happy is Ian, because he'll get the insurance money.
"The café has been run down for ages and when it comes back it will be going all 50's chic."
The situation arises when he realises that his daughter Dotty (Molly Conlin) has told Dot (June Brown) about their plan to steal her money.
The ex-con snatches Dotty, keeping her hostage in the café along with several other 'EastEnders' characters.
When a cooker catches fire, Nick is wrestled to the ground and Bradley Branning (Charlie Clements) helps people to escape.
However Nick won’t leave and they struggle before a gas pipe splits and the café explodes, leaving Bradley unconscious and Nick, nowhere to be seen.
According to TV Biz the episode will air on 2 June.
