'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson has become so popular that two fathers paid thousands for their daughters to kiss the actor.
According to E! News, film director Harvey Weinstein joked onstage at a benefit in Cannes about his daughters being enormous fans of Pattinson.
A source said: "Harvey then suggested auctioning off an opportunity for someone's daughter to meet and get a kiss on the cheek from Pattinson."
"There were two bidders who paid €20,000 each for their daughters to have that kiss."
"Harvey put him on the spot, in a playful way. And Rob agreed to it in his usual brooding, modest way."
