A new family has been cast to join 'Emmerdale'.
Digitalspy reports that the Bartons will arrive in the Dales this summer when they take us residence in Andy Sugden’s home Butler’s Farm.
Former 'Holby Blue' actor James Thornton is set to play dad John Barton with ex-'Bill' actress Natalie J Robb cast as his wife, Moira.
The Barton children are set to be played by a group of experienced TV actors. 'Waterloo Road's Adam Thomas will play Adam, 'Britannia High's Sophie Powles plays Holly and 'Grange Hill's Grace Cassidy is cast as Hannah.
Series producer Gavin Blyth said: "We wanted to stay true to 'Emmerdale's heritage by introducing a modern-day farming family at the heart of the village. The Bartons will continue to take the show forward in contemporary style as the show embraces a series of new signings for an exciting future."
