Actor Bradley Cooper has clarified a story which linked him to the role of Lieutenant Templeton 'Faceman' Peck in 'The A-Team' film.

The film website IESB had reported that Cooper was in talks about the film after asking him about the role and the actor replying: "Oh, that's out there already?"

But Cooper told another film website, CHUD: "A guy came up to me and asked about the character Faceman in 'The A-Team'. I said: 'Oh, that's out there already?', but my point was that news about the film is out there. Literally that people knew about Carnahan [Joe, the film's director] and the remake, that's it. I haven't read a script or met Joe Carnahan."

'The A-Team' is due in cinemas in June 2010.

Cooper will next be seen in the comedy 'The Hangover'; it opens on Friday, 12 June.
