MTV has announced that Kristin Cavallari will replace Lauren Conrad on the network's hit series 'The Hills'.
The Associated Press reports that both Conrad and Cavallari appeared in MTV's high school reality series 'Laguna Beach'.
In that series the two girls were rivals.
Cavallari will make her debut in the final episode of the fifth series of 'The Hills'.
