'Goodfellas' director Martin Scorsese is to bring the life of singer Frank Sinatra to the big screen.
Phil Alden Robinson, whose credits include 'Field of Dreams' and 'All of Me', will write the screenplay for the film.
In a statement announcing the film, Sinatra's daughter Tina Sinatra said: "My father had great admiration for the talent of the people he chose to work with, and the talented people who worked with my father had great admiration for him.
"It is personally pleasing to me that this paradigm continues with Marty Scorsese at the helm of the Sinatra film."
