ITV has announced that three endings are being filmed for the final episode of the police drama series 'A Touch of Frost'.
David Jason has played Detective Inspector Jack Frost for 17 years and will decide with ITV executives which ending will be broadcast.
Jason said: "I thoroughly enjoy playing Jack Frost. He's been a huge part of my acting life after more than 40 episodes, and I'll give him a dramatic and fitting send off, whichever ending we decide to screen."
The final 'A Touch of Frost' will be a two-part special entitled 'If Dogs Run Free' and follows Frost as he tries to bring dangerous criminal Gerry Berland (Adrian Dunbar) to justice.
It will be shown next year.
