'Britain’s Got Talent' singing sensation Susan Boyle was subtitled during her appearance on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' earlier this week, reports the BBC.

The programme-makers filmed Ms Boyle giving a tour of her home in Scotland and this pre-recorded segment was subtitled. Ms Boyle spoke directed to host Winfrey and this was not subtitled.

During the interview the 47-year-old unemployed charity worker spoke of the fame she has experienced since her performance of 'I dreamed a dream' from 'Les Miserables' on the talent show. The performance later reached a global audience after it was posted on Youtube.

She said the experience has been like 'a dream come true'. She also said that despite enormous pressure she did not plan on changing her appearance radically.

Speaking about her singing voice, she said "I was kind of slow at school, so getting something like singing was a good way of hiding behind that and so boosting my confidence."

'Britain's Got Talent' judge Simon Cowell also appeared on Oprah saying: "This lady came up, and I'm thinking 'This will take five seconds and I can go have a cup of tea'."

"She knew we were going to have that reaction and just to see that look of satisfaction on her face midway through - it was one of my favourite moments."
