'Britain's Got Talent' hopeful Greg Pritchard has said that he was scared of performing because he thought people might laugh at his singing voice.
According to The Sun, the 24-year-old soprano, who performed 'Nessun Dorma' on the show, said that he feared people wouldn't get his act.
Pritchard said: "I was really scared of how I would be portrayed. While my singing is normal for me, it can be quite shocking."
"I was hoping they'd see me like Michael Jackson, someone who is different but with a great talent."
"People don’t think that’s how a man should sing so it comes as a real shock when I start."
"I've always worried about getting stick for my singing because it is weird," he said.
"Not many of my friends have really heard me sing - only my close ones."
"I kept it quiet when I was in school as I worried what people would think, that they’d laugh at me because they didn’t get it."
