Katie Holmes is to travel to Australia this summer to star in a new thriller.
Variety reports that 'Don't Be Afraid of the Dark' was co-written by 'Pan's Labyrinth' director Guillermo del Toro.
It is based on a 1973 television film and tells the story of a young girl who moves in with her father and his partner and discovers there are strange creatures in the house.
The film will be shot in Melbourne.
