Former 'ER' actress Alex Kingston is to star in 'Hope Springs', a new BBC family drama about a group of women who end up living in a remote Scottish village after a plan to steal money from one of their gangster husbands goes awry.
Kingston will appear alongside Sian Reeves ('Cutting It'), Christine Bottomley ('The Street') and Vinette Robinson ('The Passion') as one of four women who end up hiding in the town of Hope Springs when the attempted heist fails.
The eight-part series is described as "a sparklingly modern fish-out-of-water drama set against the stunning backdrop of gorgeous Scottish scenery" and is due to air later this year.
