The final of 'Hell's Kitchen' takes place tonight with the winner of this year's series set to be revealed.

Comedian and actor Ade Edmondson and ex-Dynasty star Linda Evans will battle it out for the title.

The pair revealed they have become close friends while sharing a kitchen with six other celebrities and chef Marco Pierre White.

Edmondson said he hoped to stay in touch with the woman he faces in the final. He said: "I can imagine meeting up with Linda."

And the feeling was mutual with the American actress saying she hoped he would visit her with his wife Jennifer Saunders.

She said: "I love Ade and I want to ask Jennifer if they can come to Seattle to visit because I'm going to have Ade withdrawal."

Speaking on last night's show, Evans described it as "a great experience" and added: "Winning does not have to be a part of that."

Meanwhile, Edmondson admitted to being scared of White who has dominated the celebrity-filled kitchen for a fortnight. He said: "I cook his fish for him. He shouts at me for fish and I give it to him."

White congratulated the pair on making the final and revealed he agreed with the public verdict.

He said: "If I had chosen two people to put in the final it would have been you both. So I am amazed the public put you there."
