Russell Brand returned to radio and phoned Jonathan Ross to joke about the furore which prompted him to quit the BBC.
According to Sky News when contacted by Brand, Ross asked: "You're not back on the radio are you?"
Ross agreed to be interviewed on the one-off show for TalkSport which Brand presented with Oasis star Noel Gallagher.
Gallagher accused the pair of failing to learn their lessons after Ross agreed to be interviewed on the show.
Ross told Gallagher: "We'll listen to it very carefully before it goes out. Noel, you can sit back and be the grown up one."
Brand quit the BBC following the outcry over the lewd messages he and co-host Ross left on actor Andrew Sachs' answer phone.
