MTV News reports that in an interview with GQ magazine, Timberlake said: "I've been training four times a week to get my VO2 levels up to expand my lungs.
"We'll climb for a week straight, carrying 30lbs on our backs. It's going to be intense, but it's going to be so rewarding. Plus, we're going to be ready for it."
Kenna told Elle magazine that he refused to train for the climb with Timberlake because "he's way fitter than I am".
The trio will do the climb in the autumn.
