'Hell’s Kitchen' contestant Ade Edmondson has taken a swipe at fellow contestant Grant Bovey, suggesting his "over-helpful" rival comes over as an idiot.
According to the Daily Mirror, the former Young Ones star is simmering with resentment after he was demoted to being a waiter while Bovey has impressed
When Bovey took charge of the cooking task on the second day, Edmondson grumbled that he was a "wannabe team leader."
He moaned to the camera: "Grant is over-helpful to everyone. Ambition has got to be tempered with a kind of cool head, I think, otherwise you can look like an idiot."
Edmondson also complained about Bovey’s wife on the ITV1 show. He said. "The best meal was Anthea’s with the turbot. Let’s face it, it’s not very difficult to cook. I think Grant cooked it for her."
