Laura Leighton is to reprise her role as the scheming Sydney Andrews in the new version of 'Melrose Place'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Leighton's character was involved in an apparently fatal car accident on her wedding day during the last season of the show in 1997.
While details of her return are closely-guarded, Sydney is expected to be the landlord of the new Melrose Place tenants.
