Singer Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, has said the singer is "back to herself again".
According to People, Fenty said: "She is in good spirits. And she sounds great."
The 21-year-old has returned to her native Barbados to join her grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary celebrations.
Her father added: "I'm happy to have her home. Things are good with her. She is doing really, really well. She's back to herself again."
Chris Brown is scheduled to appear in court on 6 April charged with assault and making criminal threats after allegedly beating girlfriend Rihanna in Los Angeles in February.
It is not known if the 'Umbrella' singer will attend the hearing.
