'Inglorious Basterds' (sic), the new Quentin Tarantino World War Two film which stars Brad Pitt, is to have its world premiere and screen in competition at the Cannes Film Festival.
Variety reports that Tarantino has told the film's backers that it will be completed in time for the May festival.
'Inglorious Basterds' tells the story of a group of Jewish-American soldiers on a special mission.
It will be released on 21 August.
