Jade Goody's mother Jackiey Budden has arranged the Big Brother star's funeral, which will take place on 4 April.
According to Now Magazine, the 50-year-old Budden thinks she would break down if she had to do a reading or speak at the service.
Speaking about the funeral, she said: "All the readers have been chosen but I can tell you this, I will not be one of them."
"I have been so strong through all this, but I would just break down if I had to read."
Budden has also been trying to lift the spirits of Jade's husband Jack Tweed, 21.
She told the Daily Star: "I am being a husband and a mother at the moment because Jack is too weak."
Budden is grandmother to Goody’s two sons Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4.
