Television presenter Fern Britton is reportedly in talks about presenting a light entertainment show on BBC.
According to The Sun, Britton may already have accepted an offer to join the station, after announcing her departure from ITV's 'This Morning' earlier this week.
Britton has also pulled out of the British Soap Awards, saying that the date of the event clashes with her sister's birthday party.
The television star dismissed media speculation about a rift with her 'This Morning' co-host Phillip Schofield.
Britton said: "I realise people like to speculate... but the reason is ten years is a long time and I'm ready for a change."
"My immediate plan is to build a vegetable plot in the autumn and become a 'This Morning' viewer cheering on whoever the lucky person is who will work with Phillip, because he is, after all, simply the best."
