'EastEnders' stars Kara Tointon and Ricky Groves are to leave the BBC One show.
The Mirror reports that their characters, Dawn Swann and Garry Hobbs, will be written out in a dramatic storyline during the summer.
An unnamed source told the Mirror: "Viewers will have to wait and see if there is a happy ending, or whether they go their separate ways."
The contracts of Tointon, who has starred in the show for four years, and Groves, who has been a cast member for almost 10, were due to end this year.
The actress said of her time on the soap: "It has been the best four years of my life. I will always hold the show dear to my heart and be an avid fan."
