Victoria Beckham called actress friend Katie Holmes to babysit her young children, after reportedly falling out with her mother-in-law Sandra Beckham who flew back to London.

The actress took out Beckham's two sons Cruz, 4, and Romeo, 6, along with her 2-year-old daughter Suri Cruise, the Daily Mail online reports.

Along with a nanny the group visited the Children's Arts Studio in Santa Monica. Suri was dressed in a blue polka dotted dress and red cardigan with a cuddly toy in her hands while Cruz and Romeo wore jeans and shirts.

Holmes and actor husband Tom Cruise are good friends of the Beckhams, though the friendship had reportedly soured after the two fashionista wives decided to float individual designer ranges at the same time.

However, Holmes had to drop the idea while Victoria's label 'VdB' has proved to be a success.

Victoria was reportedly forced to rush back from Milan last week, where David is on loan to AC Milan, after her mother-in-law Sandra decided she wanted to go home to London.

Sandra was babysitting her three grandchildren, but the Daily Mail quotes a source as saying: “Victoria had been househunting in Milan, but then Sandra decided she wanted to be at her daughter’s birthday, so Victoria had to fly back early. Sandra and Victoria had a row."
