BBC Two has announced that it will screen all five series of the critically acclaimed American crime drama 'The Wire'.
The screening of all 60 episodes on BBC Two will be the first time that 'The Wire' has been shown on terrestrial television in the UK.
Episodes will be shown across the week on BBC Two, with transmission dates to be announced soon.
'The Wire' was shown on TG4 in Ireland.
