Oasis star Noel Gallagher has said that he would like a cameo role in 'Coronation Street' so that he could punch David Platt.
Speaking to Jo Whiley on her BBC Radio One show, the singer said of the soap: "It's such an institution... I love it."
"Why they've never asked me to be in it is really one of the scandals of our age."
"I could just have a walk-on part. A little, tiny part. Preferably punching David Platt's face in. And then go onto his mum," he joked.
