Geri Halliwell has split from her Italian shipping tycoon fiancé Fabrizio Politi less than three months after he popped the question.
Mother-of-one Halliwell got engaged to Politi just two months after they met in a nightclub in December last year.
The relationship faltered, though, when according to a source, the former Spice Girl "woke up one morning last week and decided she wasn’t the marrying type."
"She loved being in a relationship, but decided that all she needs is her daughter Bluebell to keep her happy," the source told The Sun newspaper. "Fabrizio is upset but totally respects Geri's wishes."
In the past the 36-year-old has spoken about her struggle to maintain a long-term relationship saying: "I can be fickle."
