Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole is reportedly holding off on signing her 'X Factor' contract because of ongoing negotiations with Dannii Minogue.
According to The Sun, Cole has refused to sign up for the next series of the show until Minogue is also offered a contract.
Media reports have previously suggested that Simon Cowell was planning to drop Minogue from the judging panel of the show.
A source told the newspaper: “Cheryl told Simon straight — if it’s not her and Dannii together, then he’s looking for two new stars. There’s no way he will let them both go."
Referring to last year's series, the source said: “The show was a bigger success than ever, and Simon knows a lot of that is down to Cheryl.”
