Mika has offered to write songs for Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole, following their recent meeting in Los Angeles.
A source told The Sun: "Mika went for dinner with the chief of Universal Records and Cheryl was invited along, too."
"They were chatting about their plans for the future and he said he’d love to work on her solo material."
The source added: "Cheryl has a lot of offers on the table now and is considering her next move. Mika might be a bit too poppy for her R&B tastes, but she was flattered to be involved."
Cheryl is also expected to team up with Will.i.am, 33, on his next album after the success of their duet 'Heartbreaker' last year.
