Britney Spears' father has claimed that her ex-manager Sam Lutfi has harassed the singer and sought to undermine his legal control over her life.
People.com reports that the claims were made in a restraining-order hearing which took place yesterday in a Los Angeles court.
Evidence was heard in court that a prepaid cell phone was recently given to the pop singer during a hotel stay. Spears revealed that the phone was given to her by a third party who was given it by Lutfi and former boyfriend paparazzo Adnan Ghalib.
Jamie Spears described the incident as he sought to maintain a restraining order against Lutfi.
He told the court "When [Lutfi] was in so-called control, she'd lost everything – her kids and career. I believe he's a predator, I believe he's very dangerous to her ... and causes her a lot of anguish and disbelief. We've asked him to go away before, and now he's coming back. We just want the man to go away. Just leave us alone."
Lutfi denies he has been harassing the singer saying it is her who has been reaching out to him via text messages.
The hearing will resume Wednesday with more testimony from other witnesses.
