Pictures of 'Coronation Street' star Craig Charles apparently looking the worse for wear after a night out were published today.
Charles, who plays cabbie Lloyd Mullaney, was filmed in the normally tranquil town of Bowness, near Lake Windermere in the UK.
He arrived at the tourist spot with co-star Simon Gregson, who plays Steve McDonald. Gregson is said to have a boat there which is used at weekends when filming ends on a Friday.
The Daily Mirror quoted onlooker Keith Mulcahy, 46, who began filming Charles.
He said: "He stumbled into the street and walked into the middle of the road. He was holding up the traffic waving his arms in the air. His friends had to hold him up because he was really unsteady on his feet."
Mr Mulcahy said Charles was helped to a seat, where he swayed with his head in his hands - but moments later he toppled over and knocked over a sandwich board.
The newspaper also reported that Charles had been thrown out of a local pub during his bender.
A 'Coronation Street' spokesman said: "This is a personal matter for Craig and it's not one that I will be commenting on."
In June 2006, Charles was suspended by Granada bosses after photos of him apparently smoking crack cocaine were published in the Daily Mirror.
He underwent rehabilitation treatment in a private clinic and later returned to work.
