'Coronation Street' actress Alison King has given birth to a baby girl.
The 35-year-old actress, who plays Carla Connor in the ITV soap, and her partner Adam Huckett, a sound technician who works on the set of the soap, welcomed their new arrival today.
A 'Coronation Street' spokeswoman told news agency PA: "Alison King has given birth today to a baby girl. She weighed in at 6lbs 7oz. No name has been decided on yet but mum and baby are doing well.
"Everyone at 'Coronation Street' sends Alison and her partner Adam Huckett their best wishes on the birth of their daughter."
King previously appeared in Sky One's 'Dream Team' before joining the long-running soap.
