Ahead of their RTÉ Two return on Monday night, Podge and Rodge have issued a stark warning to their new co-host Caroline Morahan.

Commenting on their new housemate, the brothers said: "Trawling through Ireland's top totty was tough, but someone had to do it. It was a hard decision to make but we think hot-lips Morahan was the right choice."

However, they then warned that if Morahan "gets ideas above her station about laying down the law" they know that "there are nine other women in the wings we can call at any time".

Morahan, who was guest host on the show before Christmas, responded: "I'm excited to be working with the boys. We had a riot doing the show together before Christmas. As with all unruly men, Podge and Rodge are in dire need of a firm female hand."

Podge, Rodge and Morahan will be joined by TV presenter Timmy Mallet and 'Fair City' actor George McMahon on Monday night (RTÉ Two, 10.25pm).

On Tuesday night (RTÉ Two, 10.55pm) their guests will be singer Camille O'Sullivan and matchmaker and horse whisperer Willie Daly.
