'Coronation Street' star Graeme Hawley has announced he and his wife Elianne are expecting their first child.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the actor, who plays bad guy John Stape in the soap, revealed that the baby is due to be born in the summer.
Several of Hawley's castmates also recently announced impending arrivals in the coming months.
Hawley said: "There's definitely something in the water over there. The creche will be bigger than the set at this rate!"
"Elianne is 19 weeks now and she's been doing ever so well, we're delighted."
"I heard they'd been placing bets on who would be the next to announce a pregnancy on 'Corrie', so I missed a trick there really," he said.
