Beyoncé Knowles will sing the first song for US President Elect Barack Obama and his wife at a ball on inauguration night.
MTV News reports that Beyoncé will sing for the couple's first dance at the 'Neighbourhood Ball' at the Washington Convention Center on Tuesday night.
No details of what song she will sing have been released.
Joining Knowles on the bill will be husband Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Shakira, Sting, Faith Hill, Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder and Maroon 5.
