Patrick McGoohan, the star of the cult television series 'The Prisoner' and 'Danger Man', has died.
McGoohan, who was 80, died at his home in Los Angeles after a short illness.
Born in New York and raised in Ireland and the UK, McGoohan was a double Emmy winner for his guest-starring roles on 'Columbo'.
His film credits included 'Escape from Alcatraz', 'Braveheart' and 'A Time to Kill'.
