Former A1 singer Ben Adams has been saved from facing the public vote for this Friday's 'Celebrity Big Brother' eviction.

Adams was nominated for eviction by Head of House Terry Christian along with Ulrika Jonsson and Lucy Pinder.

Jonsson was chosen by Christian for, in his opinion, having the biggest ego; Pinder for being the least talented and Adams for having the least integrity.

However, in a twist on last night's second live show, the other housemates were then told that they could save one of the trio from eviction, with Adams receiving five of the seven votes.

Before the vote, Adams, Pinder and Jonsson were moved to a secret room where they could see Christian's nominations and their housemates' vote.

Tension mounted on last night's show as Michelle Heaton broke down over Coolio's taunts about her friendship with Adams; the rapper later apologised.
