It is reported that 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz' stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have been cast in director Steven Spielberg's upcoming 'Tintin' film.
The film website Ain't It Cool reports that the duo will play Thomson and Thompson in the film, which will be animated using motion-capture technology.
'Lord of the Rings' star Andy Serkis will play Tintin's friend Captain Haddock; the role of Tintin has yet to be cast.
The film, which is being produced by 'Lord of the Rings' director Peter Jackson, is due to be released in 2010; the follow-up will be directed by Jackson.
