The funeral of John Travolta’s 16-year-old son Jett is reported to be taking place tomorrow. His body is expected to be flown back to Florida from the Bahamas where he died on Friday.
He was found unconscious on Friday morning in the bathroom of the family’s home in the Bahamas. Lawyers acting for Travolta were quoted as saying that Jett suffered from grand mal which is a type of epilepsy that causes convulsions.
An autopsy is planned for today to determine the exact cause of the teenager’s death.
Speaking about his son, Travolta said he was "the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for." The actor continued "I did everything I could to keep him alive. I tried the kiss of life for about 20 minutes. I wouldn't give up."
Travolta said that he and his wife, Kelly Preston, were "heartbroken" by their loss.
Speaking on his website he said "Jett lit up the lives of everyone he encountered."
