Katherine Jenkins was booed by anti-fur campaigners at the opening of the Harrods winter sale at the weekend.
Protesters from the Coalition to Abolish the Fur Trade booed when the opera singer arrived outside the store in a horse-drawn carriage.
The campaigners say that Harrods is the only UK store selling imported fur.
One of the protesters, John Wilson said: "We are gathered here today because of our disgust at Ms Jenkins who professes to be against animal cruelty and the fur trade".
Jenkins commented: "Personally I do not eat meat or wear fur, but people are entitled to their opinions."
