Leona Lewis has been named America's Top New Artist 2008.
Billboard Magazine has honoured the star with the award, who won The X Factor in 2006.
The singer told the magazine: "I’m just going day by day and just enjoying everything. I got a fantastic opportunity to come here and do this and so far it’s been going really well."
