The Taoiseach Brian Cowen has unveiled a Joe Dolan sculpture in the late singer's hometown of Mullingar in Westmeath.
The official unveiling took place at 2pm on Sunday 7 December and was marked with the performance of a segment of The Reunion Show at the Market Square in the town.
The event was attended by members of the singer's family, friends, neighbours and local politicians.
'Joe Dolan: The Platinum Collection', the official anthology of the star's career, compiled by his management and family, has just been released by EMI Music Ireland.
