Shane Davey has become the latest contestant to be fired on 'The Apprentice', after admitting that he wanted to leave the show.
The 29-year-old account manager from Dublin was called into the boardroom with his project manager Orla Power after they were deemed the losing team in the latest challenge.
The task involved designing a marketing campaign and coming up with a gift idea for a jewellery store.
When Shane was asked to defend himself in the boardroom he admitted that he didn't want to take part in the show anymore because he didn’t think that he would be chosen as the eventual winner.
He said that he wanted to resign but seemed to reconsider this decision later.
Bill Cullen then said that he was firing Shane because the candidate didn't want to be there and other people really wanted their places on the show.
