Model and television presenter Jodie Kidd has become the latest celebrity to be voted off 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

The star described her time on the dance contest as the "most amazing journey" after she became the eleventh contestant to be voted off the show.

As a result of the public vote Kidd and her professional dance partner Ian Waite were placed in the bottom two alongside model and television presenter Lisa Snowdon and her dancer partner Brendan Cole.

Following her elimination, Kidd said: "I've had such a fabulous time. Thank you so much to everyone, thank you Ian."

"I've made some beautiful friends. It's been the most amazing journey, it's been brilliant. I see Ian as my brother from another mother!," she said.

Journalist John Sergeant also danced his last routine on the show at the weekend after announcing earlier in the week that he was planning to leave the show following harsh criticisms from the judges.

The 64-year-old journalist received a standing ovation from the studio audience.

Speaking to host Bruce Forsyth, Sergeant said: "I certainly wasn't pushed was I Brucie? I had a marvellous time. It has been strictly fantastic."

The BBC agreed to reimburse anyone who voted for Sergeant and bookmaker William Hill also agreed to repay customers who placed bets on him.
