Singer Amy Winehouse has phoned 'X Factor' contestant Eoghan Quigg to offer him her support.
According to the show's website, the singer told Eoghan that he is "beautiful" during a telephone conversation.
Eoghan revealed that he met Winehouse's 12-year-old goddaughter Dionne Bromfield backstage at the show and she later rang him up to wish him well, passing the phone over to Winehouse.
The 'Back to Black' singer told Eoghan: "I know you're the youngest there and you're the only boy. You're beautiful in yourself."
"You're taking it all in and that's really, really good. I hope you do really well."
Eoghan said: "She was telling me I was good and I was going to well, and was backing me."
"It was quite nice to be on the phone to someone who's had No 1's in the charts."
