Joanna Murphy has become the latest contestant to be fired on 'The Apprentice' after she cheated in the latest task.
The 33-year-old mother-of-three from Wicklow was given her marching orders by Bill Cullen after she broke the rules of the show during a recycling task.
Both teams had been asked to set up bring centres for WEEE Ireland, one in Naas and the other in Maynooth, where members of the public could take electronic waste.
Joanna's team lost the task, with her as team leader. She then chose to bring Orla Power and Nikki O'Callaghan back into the boardroom with her.
While there Bill Cullen revealed that he had discovered that Joanna had cheated in the task by sending emails and text messages to her husband and old boss, asking them to bring material to the site from another recycling plant.
Speaking to The Herald, Joanna later said: "I can honestly say of the 14 candidates, certainly 12 broke the rules."
"From sending text messages to leaving the house, most people didn't stick to the rules most of the time."
"I was the one who got caught. I guess Bill didn't find out about the other incidents, but they certainly happened."
"Every show needs a villain, I think I was edited into that role in many ways, but I'm not complaining."
