'Emmerdale' star Paul McEwan has spoken about his future storylines on the soap.
The actor, who plays policeman Shane Doyle, has said that there is plenty more to come from his character, who has been making Donna Dingle's (Verity Rushworth) life difficult lately.
McEwan said: "I think what's great about what's coming up is, because of the quality of the writing, the viewers are going to see a lot more sides to Shane before it really gets dark."
"There's a brief silver lining before the storm clouds gather. I think they will see in the next few weeks another side to him."
Speaking about his future storylines, he said: "If you won't accept my friendship, I will take it. If you don't want it from me I'm just going to force it on you, but you're still going to have it."
