'Footballers' Wives' star Alison Newman has signed up to appear in 'EastEnders'.
The actress, who played agent Hazel Bailey in 'Footballers' Wives', is set to take on the role of a police officer in Albert Square.
'EastEnders' executive producer Diederick Santer said: "The fabulous Alison Newman is joining us for a few weeks to play the enigmatic Samantha Keeble."
"Samantha is tough-talking, hard-nosed and rather scary."
Newman also previously appeared in 'The Bill', 'Holby City' and 'Bad Girls'.
